Meet Our Team

Dr Frank Welten & Dr Yee Sang Welten

Frank and Yee Sang graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1979. They worked in the Pilbara town of Wickham for 7 years before moving their practice to the suburb of Parkwood. Since 1986 they have been serving the community by providing general family dentistry, as well as their areas of special interest including preventive, aesthetic dentistry, endodontics (root canal therapy) and children’s dentistry. Honesty and integrity, providing top quality service and maintaining very high standards are important factors at Parkwood Dental Centre. Both dentists are committed to furthering their dental knowledge by attending post-graduate education seminars, as well as training future dentist by tutoring in the clinics at the UWA School of Dentistry.

Dr Michael Welten

Michael has joined his parents at the practice since graduating from the University of Western Australia in 2007 with honours. He strives to provide the highest level of patient care through his meticulous work ethic and a commitment to furthering his education in all areas of dentistry. Michael also enjoys playing a wide range of sport and music.

Vicki

Vicki has been with PDC since 1989 and is the Practice Manager. After being Yee Sang’s clinical assistant for many years, Vicki has decided to concentrate on the administrative aspect of PDC.

Susan

Susan joined us in 1998 and assists for both Frank and Michael. She qualified as a dental assistant in 1997 with the Dental Assistants Association, receiving the state and national award for “Dux of the Year”

Liz

Liz has been with us since 2002 and has brought a wealth of dental experience, a caring nature and an efficient work ethic. Liz assists for both Yee Sang and Michael at various times.

Sharon

Sharon is the newest member of our auxiliary team having joined us early in 2008. She is dedicated to serving in all areas of the practice helping us to maintain a professional service, whilst allowing us time to welcome and catch-up with you on arrival.
